MINDFULNESS AND MEDITATION
MINDFULNESS AND MEDITATION
A unique element of my ADHD coaching practice is the option to incorporate
ADHD-appropriate mindfulness and meditation techniques.
I am certified through Sound True’s Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program (MMTCP), a program co-taught and facilitated by Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach, with involvement from the Greater Good Science Center at the University of California, Berkeley.
Here are just a few of the ways mindfulness and meditation can enhance your coaching experience and positively impact your ADHD life:
Foster self-acceptance and Self-compassion
Calm the overwhelm commonly associated with ADHD
Gain perspective on your life and goals
Give deeper meaning to your strategies and goals
When appropriate for your needs and goals, mindfulness and meditation can be incorporated into our work as additional practices for cultivating awareness and supporting personal growth.
These practices are completely optional and can be tailored to your interests and preferences.
